Diatomite filters are devices that use diatomite as the main filtering medium, taking advantage of its fineness, porosity and adsorption properties to remove suspended particles, colloids and other impurities from liquids. The working principle is that diatomite is pre-coated first, forming a diatomite coating on the surface of the filter medium. Under the action of pump pressure, the liquid to be filtered passes through the pre-coating and enters the collection chamber. Particles and high-molecular substances are retained in the pre-coating, and the clear liquid flows out of the filter.

Excellent filtration effect: High filtration accuracy, reaching 1-3 μm, capable of filtering out Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Escherichia coli, algae, etc. The filtered water quality is clear and transparent, with turbidity less than 0.1NTU.

1. Water treatment field

Swimming pool filtration: It can filter and purify the water in swimming pools, removing suspended solids, algae, bacteria and other impurities in the water. However, in China, its large-scale promotion is limited due to issues such as backwash water discharge.
Treatment of domestic and industrial water: Deep filtration of domestic or industrial water is carried out to remove suspended solids, algae, heavy metal ions, etc., so that the water quality meets the corresponding standards.
Printing and dyeing wastewater and sewage treatment: It can be used in the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater, sewage treatment plants, etc., to remove impurities in the wastewater, reduce the chemical oxygen demand (COD) and pigment content, and ensure that the wastewater meets the discharge standards.

2. Food and beverage industry: It is used for clarification and filtration of fruit and vegetable juices, tea beverages, beer, yellow wine, fruit wine, white wine, wine, etc., to remove impurities such as fruit pulp, yeast, and protein, and improve the transparency and quality of the products.

3. Pharmaceutical industry: Sterilizing and filtering of biological products such as liquid medicines and vaccines, in compliance with GMP standards, suitable for aseptic environments.

4. Chemical industry: Fine filtration of chemical liquids (such as oils, coatings, and solvents) is carried out to remove colloids and suspended solids, ensuring product purity.
